In order to be approved for competition, facilities must provide a survey to Swim Alberta. The survey must meet the Facility Rules and Guidelines of Swimming Canada and must be completed by a licensed Alberta Land Surveyor.
Stantec has partnered with Swim Alberta to provide discounted survey’s. It is not required that clubs/communities used Stantec, but the option is available through this partnership. Click on the logo below to contact Stantec.
Swim Alberta Facility Survey List - Pools eligible to host competitions until August 31, 2018.
Facilities eligible to host competitions after September 1, 2018 are listed below and have provided a current facility survey that has been approved by Swim Alberta. Pools that undergo major renovations with respect to diving height (starting blocks), pool depth, tile replacement (pool length) or location of backstroke flags will be required to submit an updated survey to remain eligible to host competitions.
