The Pincher Creek Dolphin Swim Club is presently looking for an Assistant Coach for our 2010 swim season, May-mid August. We have an amazing club consisting of 80 members and have been competing for almost 50 years. We have a mini/jr program (50 kids) that runs for May and June and then our regular Dolphins (30 kids) remain for the rest of the season. Our swimmers have consistently achieved great success at both the Regional and Provincial levels.

The Westlock Gators Swim Club, a long standing organization participating in the summer swim season within region B and the ASSA, is seeking an Assistant Head Coach for the 2010 season.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Head Coach and club executive. The assistant coach will focus on swim skill development, working within a fun and competitive environment.
The assistant coach will arrange a flexible work schedule with our Head Coach. Attendance at practice and swim meets will be scheduled with the executive and Head Coach. Practices are 1 to 1.5 hours in duration, Monday to Thursday afternoons. The position will commence May 1st to late August (Provincial Swim Meet).
Salary and expense re-inbursement will be negotiated with the executive based on qualifications and experience.
Coaches must have a level 1 coaches certificate and be able to meet all ASSA requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with either summer or winter swim clubs. Working well with younger swimmers will be an asset to the successful candidate.
Preference will be given to the candidate that can make a long term commitment to our club and move towards head coaching duties and responsibilities in the 2011 season.

The Parkland Pirates Aquatic Club is seeking an assistant coach for the upcoming 2010/2011 swim season.
We are a growing team with approximately 90 swimmers, based out of the Tri Leisure Centre in Spruce Grove. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated coach who loves the sport of swimming, is willing to have fun, push our swimmers to the next level and bring new creative ideas to the team. Successful candidate must have past experience as a competitive swimmer and be able to work with our head coach and dynamic coaching team.
Qualifications are a NCCP skills coach and making ethical decision completed. (Old NCCP Level 1 or higher is also accepted).

Swim Coach Wanted
The Canmore Coho Swim Club requires an Assistant Coach for the summer season, May 1st to mid-August 2010. The Assistant Coach will work with a Head Coach and team of two other assistant coaches to provide competitive swim instruction to swimmers aged 6 – 18. Training takes place in the Canmore swimming pool 6 days per week, with training scheduled for late afternoon/early evening hours. The position would be full-time, totalling about 20 – 25 hours per week, plus weekends. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, a per-diem is paid to cover costs of attending swim meets.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Skills Coach or NCCP Level I swim coach certification (or equivalent).
• Previous coaching or swim instruction experience.
• Current CPR, basic first aid and NLS certifications.

The Grande Prairie Piranhas Swim Club is seeking a Full-time Head Coach
The Grande Prairie Piranhas is seeking a full-time Head Coach for its competitive and non-competitive, family centered 180 member swim team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This is a new position, created to bring the team to a new level as it prepares to move into the City’s new and larger Multi-Plex.
The successful applicant must have 5+years of head coach experience and be knowledgeable in the long term athlete development framework and eager to engage in its model and practices. NCCP Level 3 is preferred.

Lacombe Dolphins Swim Club
The Lacombe Dolphins Swim club, a well established organization involved in summer swim season within region D and the ASSA , is seeking a suitable candidate for employment during the 2010 season as Assistant Head Coach.
Working closely with our head coach and club executive, responsibilities will include working in a instruction based, fun and competitive environment with a focus on swim skill development.
Primary responsibilities will be as an on deck coach and mentor to the youth of our club, and involves attendance at all practices and weekend swim meets. Practices are 3 hours in duration , with coach hour expectations daily from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm in Lacombe 5 days /week starting in early may to mid august with swim meets taking place primarily on Saturdays and a few Sundays
A generous, salary based compensation program plus expense re-imbursement is available based on qualifications and experience, and enthusiasm of the successful candidate.
Coaches must have a level 1 coaches certificate and be working towards level 2 certification and be able to meet all ASSA requirements. Ideally they will have experience within the competitive swim environment through either summer or winter club.
Preference will be given to the candidate that can make a longer term commitment to our association and a move towards head coaching duties and responsibilities in the 2011 season.
