For your information, at the recent FINA Bureau meeting in
November, a new doping control regulation, effective immediately, was adopted for doping
tests when establishing or breaking a World Record. All swimmers will be tested
following the race and the doping control test for a world record must include the
collection of the combined urine and blood sample tests for the detection of the synthetic
hormone erthropoietin (rEPO), darbopoietin (EPO) and/or related substances. Copies
of current testing forms for identified swimmers can be accessed below.
