Competitive Opportunity for Alberta Master Swimmers

The Alberta Summer Swimming Association is opening up their summer meets to registered Alberta Master members.  The summer season runs from 1 May to 31 August.

If you are looking for additional competitive opportunities or just want to try out a swim meet for the first time, here's your chance.  Each summer there are approximately 50 plus swim meets.  By taking part in this new initiative you will be eligible to qualify for the ASSA Regional meets and also perhaps compete at the ASSA Provincial Championships.

Results for any member attending ASSA meets will be posted on the Swimming Canada meet results/sanction web site twice during the summer season.  They will be combined into two files and uploaded as time trials so that the times become official and recognised by Masters Swimming Canada.

The cost will be $27.50 per registration and then the entry fees for the meet(s) you choose to compete in.  Please note that by purchasing this membership your personal contact information will be shared with the Alberta Summer Swimming Association membership co-ordinator and the meet manager of the events you enter.

If you wish to participate in this initiative, please complete the attached two page membership form and return it to Swim Alberta with the required fee.
